How much does an ear curation cost?

Ear styling is a group of services rather than a fixed service in itself. The cost varies wildly depending on specifically how many piercings or jewellery changes you get, along with which pieces of jewellery you pick out. Most ear styling clients will invest between $600-$2,000+ per session. You don't need to spend any specific amounts, just be open minded and excited to create something beautiful!

Do you offer any deals or discounts?

We do offer reduced service on most things when combined in the same session, We know everybody's needs are different and if you're looking for looking for a specific quote please contact us so one of our helpful team members can assist you.

We also frequently have $0 piercing fee services when our practitioners are improving their skills in certain areas. Professional development is hugely important to us here at The Piercing Urge, no matter how long somebody has been piercing. When a practitioner is looking to upskill, you'll find these services listed on our booking page.

What kind of jewellery do you use?

Every studio is going to tell you that they use jewellery that's premium, implant grade, hypoallergenic or whichever other words they like to use to make it sound good. The problem is that these words only mean something when they're backed by actual verification the the expertise to know what that means.

Here at The Piercing Urge we proudly only use jewellery that has been through an in depth verification process to prove that it meets the safety standards it claims to. All jewellery for initial piercings comes from brands who are part of the Association of Professional Piercers (APP) Body Jewellery Verification Program.

Beyond material verification, we select jewellery that meets our critically high standards of craftsmanship and polish. Our selection is made by global leading manufacturers, and constantly reviewed to ensure we're providing you with the absolute most premium products available.

We won't just claim that our jewellery is implant grade so it sounds good. We'll explain to you what that actually means, and why it's only the baseline when it comes to quality.

*Can I bring my own jewellery?

We see what happens to healing, and even healed piercings, when the jewellery worn in them doesn't meet the safety standard your body needs. Because of this, we're unable to be sure of the source of jewellery that you bring in to us, and therefore unable to know if it's truly safe to wear or not. We care about your health and safety, and won't risk it for unknown jewellery. We're not able to use jewellery that has been brought in from outside sources, only jewellery that has been purchased from us.
