  • This applies to all current and future services, products, features, and tools we offer, whether you are browsing the site, booking a piercing or other studio service, attending as a walk-in client, or purchasing jewellery, aftercare, or other products, whether online or in person.

Services, Bookings & Eligibility

  • Piercing services are only provided to clients who meet the legal requirements in Victoria, including minimum age and parental or guardian consent where required for minors. Full details are set out in our Age & ID Policy.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or decline service, in-store or online, at our reasonable discretion, including to clients attending for a piercing, clients visiting the studio for any other reason, customers placing an online order, and orders we reasonably believe are intended for resale or wholesale distribution. Refusals and cancellations relating to piercing appointments are handled in line with our Booking & Cancellation Policy.

Health, Hygiene & Safety

  • The Piercing Urge operates as a registered skin penetration premises under the Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008 (Vic), and all piercing and related services are provided in accordance with applicable Victorian health, hygiene, and safety laws and regulations.
  • Information provided on our website or by our staff, including aftercare advice, is general in nature and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider regarding your health or any concerns about your piercing.
  • We do not guarantee specific healing outcomes and are not liable for adverse reactions or complications arising from a piercing or related procedure.

Conduct

  • You must not use our website or services for any unlawful purpose, or engage in unlawful, abusive, threatening, or discriminatory behaviour, including harassment or discrimination based on gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, race, age, national origin, or disability, whether directed at our staff, other clients, or any third party.
  • You must not upload or transmit viruses, malicious code, or anything designed to disrupt or damage our website or systems, attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our website, systems, or data, or provide false or misleading information to us at any point, including when booking, purchasing, or completing a consent form.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service to anyone for misconduct or breach of this section.

  • The Piercing Urge name, logo, website content, and images are protected by copyright and trademark law. "The Piercing Urge" and its logo are registered trademarks in Australia.

International & Global Sales

  • We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where this is caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, or interruptions to supply or to third-party systems we rely on.

Severability
