ID and Age Information

Persons Aged 15 or Younger

To perform piercings on people aged 15 or younger, the law in Victoria requires a signature from both the child, and the child’s parent/legal guardian.

For Australian citizens & permanent residents

The parent/legal guardian must provide at least one of the following:

• Australian Driver’s Licence / Learner Permit
• Passport
• Keypass
• Proof of Age Card

To verify the relationship between the parent/legal guardian and the child, you must also provide one of the following:

• Medicare Card with both names on it
• Private Healthcare Card with both names on it
• Child's Birth Certificate

For visitors to Australia

The parent/legal guardian must provide the following::

• Passport

To verify the relationship between the parent/legal guardian and the child, you must also provide one of the following:

• Child's Birth Certificate

By law, the parent/legal guardian must be present at the time of the appointment,

Persons Aged 16 or Older

The law in Victoria does not require a parent/legal guardian to sign for someone who is 16 or older.

You are required to provide the following ID:

• Passport

Important Notes

• All ID must be valid, in date and in physical form.
• We cannot accept photos, print outs or copies of ID.
• Failure to present ID may result in cancellation or rebooking of your appointment.
• Licenses and IDs issued in countries outside of Australia cannot be accepted.
