ID and Age Information

Persons Aged 15 or Younger
To perform piercings on people aged 15 or younger, the law in Victoria requires a signature from both the child, and the child’s parent/legal guardian.

You will need at least one of the following forms of ID for the parent/legal guardian:

• Driver’s Licence / Learner Permit
• Passport
• Keypass
• Proof of Age Card

You will also need at least one of these forms of ID to tie the child and parent together:
- Medicare Card
- Private Health Care Card
- Child’s Birth Certificate (not extract)

Persons Aged 16 or Older
The law in Victoria does not require a parent/legal guardian to sign for someone who is 16 or older. For people over this age we can accept the following forms of ID:

• Driver’s Licence / Learner Permit
• Passport
• Keypass
• Proof of Age Card
• School ID (non-electronic only)

NOTES:

• All ID must be valid, in date and in physical form.
• We cannot accept photos, print outs or copies of ID.
• Failure to present ID may result in cancellation or rebooking of your appointment.
• Parents/legal guardians must be present at the time of the appointment.
